Chalk FarM

Although it is a thriving club scene and hipster area near London, Chalk FarM is also the name of a Los Angeles based alternative rock band that was signed to Columbia Records in the late 1990s. The sole record done through Columbia, which sold just over 70,000 copies is called "Notwithstanding" has singles in the top 10 Billboard Rock charts and Top 40 Billboard Modern Rock charts.

This CD is no longer in print, but you can usually find some used copies at Amazon.com or on eBay.

The group left Columbia in 2000 after a corporate shake-up which left their original team non-existent and lead-singer Michael Duff former his own label called TIC Records on which the band released their 2nd CD. This was one of the first truly Independent CDs released by an established rock band. It was entitled "Three 2s" and can still be purchased by clicking here.

All 4 original members are still performing.
